I Been Having A Problem With My Throat And Then

I been having a problem with my throat and then I feel like I need burp all the time even when I drink water . I feel something in my throat like mucus. My nose is always dry . I when to the doctor he told me I might have acid but i have the feeling always. I feel the burp urge all the time.
