I Believe The Cotton From A Q Tip Is Stuck

I believe the cotton from a q tip is stuck in my ear. I didn't look at it before I put it In my ear so I'm not 100% sure that it had cotton on it to begin with. (I've noticed in every pack, there are a couple cotton swabs that have no cotton) I am hoping to fill my ear with water and then quickly dump it out. Do you think this will remove the cotton if there is any in there?
