I Bit My Tongue In The Same Place Several Times

I bit my tongue in the same place several times a day for about two weeks every time I would talk or try to eat and now it has a large red hole on the side of my tongue surrounded by a white swollen elevated ridge. It felt bruised for a long time and now it is still sore even though I have been putting whisky on it to keep down infection. Using whisky on a q-tip usually heals mouth sores within a day for me but I am worried about how bad the side of my tongue looks.
