I Bit The Tip Of My Tongue About 6 Days
I bit the tip of my tongue about 6 days ago, causing lots of blood and a large cut. Around 3 days ago
I noticed a very sore spot in that same area, but there is now a round red sore on the tip with a white
ring around it. It is irritated by anything salty, etc. I don't usually have this problem except I did have
the dentist check out white spots on the bottom of the tongue several years ago, I have also just
gone on a new steroidal powder inhaler medication called Breyo (I think) which the Dr says could
cause thrush and advised me to rinse out the mouth after using the med once a day, not swallowing.
Any possibilies here?
