I Broke My 4th And 5th Metatarsal Bones In My

I broke my 4th and 5th metatarsal bones in my left foot on August 10th. Since then I have seen an orthopaedic surgeon but it seems like its taking a really long time to heal. On one of my X-ray reports it says I have an os navicular that was present. I have been complaining about constant pain where the breaks are and then on the arch side which was not injured on August 10th. I still am walking with the boot and when I try to wear runners I can't.
What is the next step??
