I Broke My Fibula Just Above The Ankle Joint 8

I broke my fibula just above the ankle joint 8 weeks ago. I had a back slab for 2 weeks then a moon boot for 5 weeks no follow up X-ray for last 5 weeks. Now X-ray reveals only small area joined. I was sent home being told to take it easy for 4 weeks no need to wear the boot and no follow up appointments. Should I seek more advice or is this ok.
