I Broke My Nose In A Fight - It Also

I broke my nose in a fight - it also has a cut on it which i got stiches.will the scar go away after some mounth if i put scar remover jel, or should i have beauty serjen - my docter said he could only fix the broken part for now and that time will let us know..is there any medicine for it- when can i do a beauty sergury??
