I Broke My Thoracic Back And It Was Fused A

I broke my thoracic back and it was fused a few years back. I have been on tramadol and gabapentin with epidural shots every 5 months. This is not lasting and I have 8 bad discs. They have now recommended rhysatomy on the eight discs. I did have a facet block on the disc 3 weeks ago. Can you tell me about having a rhysatomy?
