I Broke My Tibula And Fibula About An Half Inch

I broke my tibula and fibula about an half inch from my knee. Well i didn't have any knee pain till about a year ago and ever since it won't go away fully. It will go away for a little while if i stop working out but then once i get back into running alot or skateboarding my knee starts to hurt again. I just got my first shot of synvisc a day ago and my knee hurts worse and leg feels a little numb. Do you think the shots will work. I feel like it's my rods and that they need to be taken out but the doctor says otherwise. What would be yur medical opinion or advice. Feedback is greatly appreciated.
