I Burned My Esophagus Eating Hot Soup A Couple Weeks

I burned my esophagus eating hot soup a couple weeks ago. Since then I've been careful --- eating lukewarm food only. I got better but my upper chest area still feel like having food stuck there --- no longer painful but still uncomfortable. Should I eat only liquid food and in room temperature?
