I Can Hear My Pulse Very Loudly In My Right

I can hear my pulse very loudly in my right ear and my ENT is scheduling a MRI to figure things out.. what is he looking for and what would be my options if there is something.. he didn't give me a lot of details.. I have had this for about 2 months and its not like my normal pulse that I have always been able to hear its gotten loud but only on my right side. Thank you for your time
