I Can't Get To Sleep Unless I Take An RX.

I can't get to sleep unless I take an RX. Even then, my body is becomming ammuned & it's becomming less affected. I don't believe I'm in menopause because I still have my period on a consistant basis. I don't feel irratable, moody or depressed. Nothing above what "sleeplesness would cause. I don't know what to do. All Dr's want to do is prescribe antidepressants for sleeplessness. I think this is a lazy diagnosis for a Dr to choose this as 1st remedy. Do you have any Ideas?
