I Contacted Syphilis From My Ex Have Not Had Unprotected

I contacted syphilis from my ex have not had unprotected sex since I left him. I went to the doctor to be diagnosed abd had secondary syphilis. All websites say I have hiv too. I went back for follow up but the doctor did not test me for hiv. I can't sleep and have constant anxiety that I have the virus although have no symptoms to think so.
