I Cut And Took My Zoloft Pill Last Night Without

I cut and took my Zoloft pill last night without water. It has hurt all day today, specifically when I breathe in big, and when I swallow. Will this subside? I don't think the pill is actually stuck there anymore, but it might have hurt my throat. what should i do?
