I Developed A Sudden Itching Rash Over The Upper Part

I developed a sudden itching rash over the upper part of my body which is pink. I attribute it to new undershirt which was washed before I wore it for the first time. Does my diognosis sound reasonable? I'm rewashing the laundry? The soap is the same as I have used for years.
