I Developed High Blood Pressure When I Was Pregnant In

I developed high blood pressure when I was pregnant in 1972. I manage to keep in under control most of the time with medication, although I have problems with most medications. When I ask my doctor why this happened they said that it just happens sometime and they don't know why. Do you have suggestions as to how I can get off medications.
