I Developed Some Sharp Pains In My Stomach This Morning.

I developed some sharp pains in my stomach this morning. I took advil on an empty stomach and wondered if this is causing it. The pain comes and goes but it feels like a ball of pain right in the middle of my stomach.
I also wondered if it could possibly be a mild case of food poisoning. Do you have any thoughts?
