I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant. After What I Thought

I didn't know I was pregnant. After what I thought was a period I was bleeding for a week with pain worsening along with cramping. I was told I was pregnant. But no heartbeat. I miscarried. My dr prescribed 2 medications. One I could not afford so I only got one of them (methylergonovine) it does not say When to start taking it and I'm unsure when. It's been 2 weeks now of bleeding and clots. When should I start this medication?
