I discontinued asking my doctor for hydrocodone 10/325 10 pills a day that began as a 3 a day prescription for chronic shoulder pain due to a 2002 injury that required 4 surgeries over a 5 year period.
I have successfully stayed away from them completely for 9 plus weeks but my abdominal discomfort lingers and I am still very low energy. I take 1 to 2 Immodium tablets daily to help control the chronic diarrhea. I had a full blood and stool sample workup and no anomolies were noted. What can I do to help strengthen my gut ? I've read on a long-term vicodin use that it can take a varied amount of time to return to digestion normality and normal energy.
