I Do Have A Fiend Who Gave Birth A Week

I do have a fiend who gave birth a week ago and her stomach is swollen and she is told she has got a ovarian infection, she gave birth naturally how can this happen and why is she feeling dizzy and her stomach never gets normal size please help me understand thank you.
