I Do Not Produce Much Earwax And For The Past

I do not produce much earwax and for the past year or so I've gotten into this vicious cycle of scratching my right ear a lot with pretty much anything I consider sterile. What I have been noticing is that after I scratch, my ear drools out a watery liquid and if i leave it alone it becomes super crusty at the eadge of my ear. Recently I scratched my left ear and now its doing the same thing. Could I have Empetigo?
