I Donated Blood Last Thursday. The Had Trouble Getting Blood.

I donated blood last Thursday. The had trouble getting blood. After trying to adjust the needle ( I had pain I have never felt before when giving blood . The stopped trying. I have had a lot of braiding and have a pea sized lump that is kind of long are the site. Should I contact my family doctor?
