I Don't Even Know How To Phrase This I Have

I don't even know how to phrase this I have been told that the doctor called a family member and left a message on the machine that her blood was not flowing correctly out of the heart and there was nothing else they could do. Totally improper if true. So how do I find out what happens in this case and would a dr do this and what happpens now
