I Drop A Very Heavy Package On My Big Toe.

I drop a very heavy package on my big toe. I went to the doctor and she poked a hole in the nail to let the blood releases . She did this 3 days after if had the accident. I have been squeezing the nail and it's ozing water like blood. My question is, will I lose the nail and if so what should Expect.
