I Dropped A Heavy Object On The Top Of My

I dropped a heavy object on the top of my foot 1 week ago. It is still somewhat painful and I am not certain if I should be walking on it as usual or get an x-ray. It is somewhat swollen and bruised from the top of my foot through my toes and shoes are uncomfortable so I am wearing flip flops or sandles.
