I Dropped Something Heavy On My Foot Over A Month

I dropped something heavy on my foot over a month ago. My big toe nail has been slow in growing. There are white lines on the toenail. And now all of a sudden some of the nail in the middle of the toes is cracking. What should I do to keep it healthy other than keeping it clean?
