I Experience Extreme "burning" Pain When I Sit For More

I experience extreme "burning" pain when I sit for more than ten minute. I also suffer such significant pain if I kneel on the floor that I cannot get up without assistance. Any ideas as to what may be going on and what type of physician I should see?
