I Experience Heart Flutter Or Palpitations At Night While Sleeping.

I experience heart flutter or palpitations at night while sleeping. They wake me up and my chest also feels slightly painful or heavy. This has been occurring nightly over the past month. I am a 51 year old female, nonsmoker. My father is the only immediate family member with high blood pressure and heart disease controlled by medication. My brother has high blood pressure controlled by diet.
My question is - should I be concerned about my nightly heart flutters and palpitations?
