I Feel Like There Is Something In My Esophagus Especially

I feel like there is something in my esophagus especially while walking or standing and I have lots of burps. What could be the problem? I had surgery for a hiatal hernia last spring and had complications which resulted in a shot of botox where the stomach meets the intestine.
