I Feel Pain Throughout My Sternum, Especially At The Xiphod

I feel pain throughout my sternum, especially at the xiphod process, sometime with pain in my back ,stabbing sharp pain that last 30 seconds than repeats for hours, shortness of breath happens,
I drink water to help the pain and just have to ride it out for hours until it stops. happens often, what
is it?
