I Fell 2 Weeks Ago And Injured My Lower Leg,

I fell 2 weeks ago and injured my lower leg, falling on my beach chair in a confined space. My let had a tubular dent from the chair frame. Within 3-4 minutes it was swollen quite large. Iced it and kept it elevated that day and some of the next 2-3 days. I still have significant swelling. I have been keeping heat on it past few days. Saw doc a week ago. Not much of an exam, but said it was just accumulated blood from the hematoma. Is it unusual to still have this much swelling?
