I Fell A Few Days Ago Was Told I Have

I fell a few days ago was told I have a severe sprain, was told no weight barring for a few weeks. Only my concerned is I've been flu like chills since hours after the fall. And they're terrible make you feel like you have sunburn all over chills? Should I be worried my doctor wasn't.
