I Fell A Week Ago While Hiking. Slid On A

I fell a week ago while hiking. Slid on a rock and hurt my left side towards the bottom of my ribs. Not broken as I've felt that before. It was getting better but yesterday my grandson accidently bumped my left side and it sent out a shooting pain and now it really hurts badly to the point I can hardly move when trying to lay down and sleep. Not sure if I should see a doctor about this
