I Fell And Hit My Head On The Sharp Edge

I fell and hit my head on the sharp edge of a rocking chair. I've noticed that the place where my head hit has made a dent in my scalp. I had a slight headache, but never lost consciousness or had a dilated pupil. I've always been told that a hit on the head should produce a raised bump, but when the hit goes inward, causing a dent, it is something to worry about. Should I see a doctor? I seem fine, and it has been 5 1/2 hours since the fall occurred.
