I Fell Down Slippery Step Hitting On My Hips. Nothing

I fell down slippery step hitting on my hips. Nothing seems to be broken and I applied ice and took ibuprofen for several days while resting laying in bed or on couch. 3 weeks later I still have a LARGE bump on the muscle , no pain, but the bump has not gone down completely and is solid feeling. Should I apply heat to the area? The bruising has almost dissapred.
