I Fell From The Top Of A Barn Loft And

I fell from the top of a barn loft and hit my head on a piece of machinery some years ago. Thing started to go black but I pulled myself up knowing no one would find me. I couldn't raise my head. I went to the hospital and the Dr. check nothing at all. No xrays. Since I have had a lot of pain. Muscles still get sore around the area of neck that was hurt and sometimes it feels like my spine is on fire. What is going on?
