I Fell On Saturday On A Large Rock Hitting My

I fell on saturday on a large rock hitting my left hip and upper leg. The bruise is huge and I have a lump the size a a small grapefruit, but everyone says i need to see a doctor. The bruise is red inside about the size of a half dollar and then there are black stripes through it then black and yellow on the outside, it is slightly warm to touch, should i be concerned?
