I Fell On Th Eice Last Winter On My Right

I fell on th eice last winter on my right arm. It was sore and still is. Sometimes I hav a hard time lifting it above my head and other times it works just fine. I wen tot th ehospital and they assured me that nothing was borken at the time. However now several months later I still have a lump on my upper arm. Why?
