I Fell Putting My Left Arm Out To Break My

I fell putting my left arm out to break my fall on a cruise ship. X-rays did not show a break but my wrist is very painful & hurts to put any weight on it. Could I have a fracture? The ship Dr did put it in a velcro brace. This happens a week ago today.
