I Fell Really Hard On My Bottom And My Bottom

I fell really hard on my bottom and my bottom is very bruised and sore from the gall. I fell from the top of the stairs all the way to the bottom and flew into the grass after the fall. Should I get checked out from the vet and get a exray. I'm alittle concerned because I had a pulmonary embolism in Jan and was on blood thinners for about six months.
