I Found A Lump Above My Left Breast, 4 In.

I found a lump above my left breast, 4 in. below clavicle bone. It does not feel the same as a fatty tumor, O have those all over my body. Is there a cause to get these checked out? Is this area considered breast tissue? it is not checked on a mammogram.
