I Found Six Bottles Filled With Urine In My 24

I found six bottles filled with urine in my 24 year old son's bedroom. This happened once before when he was younger and I confronted him about it. At the time he claimed to just be very lazy. He is in law enforcement, very responsible. Does not drink or do drugs. He does however, play lots of games online. He does not have a booming social life, goes canoeing and hiking with a friend once in a while but most of his friends no longer live in the area. He had a girlfriend for 5 years up until about a year ago. I don't know how to have that awkward conversation with him and need assistance. His bedroom is a disaster. Clothes all over. Food wrappers, etc. Yikes!
