I Gave My Husband A Testosterone Injection In His Left

I gave my husband a testosterone injection in his left glute. I have given thousands of I'M before but I think I went to far down on the left upper quadrant. My husband now complains of pain shooting down his left leg. He does have a welt but no redness or signs of infection at site. Could I have damaged his sciatica?
