I Gave Up Smoking 12 Weeks Ago,have Put On A
I gave up smoking 12 weeks ago,have put on a stone in weight and my blood pressure has shot up to 197/110
All blood tests/bone profile and urine tests are normal.I have been given 3 months to lose weight,if bp no better will have to go on mediation.I am 5ft 4ins and weigh 11st 2lbs and am 65 yrs old.Im very fit,active and eat a good diet.What do you think has caused this sudden bp rise? Could a supected acoustic neuroma be the cause?Thank you.Sue.
