I Got 2 Mosquito Bites Earlier This Week While Outside

I got 2 mosquito bites earlier this week while outside watching the sunset. The next day my neck was a little stiff. Every day since then my neck has gotten more and more stiff and my shoulders hurt, and today the pain and stiffness is spreading into my face behind my jaw. I'm starting to think that the pain in my neck and shoulders is related to the mosquito bites. My daughter got mosquito bites the same day and one of them got infected, which we treated and she seems to be better now. But my muscle stiffness is increasing. What could this be? What can I do to make it go away?
