I Got A Bite From A Mosquito Awhile Back. It

I got a bite from a mosquito awhile back. It was on the outside of my palm. It didn't feel normal, and just hurt for a while afterwards. Since then, I haven't felt anything abnormal. Was it some virus-infected mosquito, or do you think it just got me inn an odd place?
