I Got A Bug Bite Of Some Sort On My

I got a bug bite of some sort on my ankle last weekend and through the the week it has spread and had hives. Today it has gotten much worse. It looks swollen, dark red, and blotchy. Warm to the touch. I know I need to have it looked at, but am not sure if I should go to the emergency room or if I can wait until tomorrow.
