I Got A Sudden Swellig On My Palate Which Is

I got a sudden swellig on my palate which is very painful. I am unable to wear my dentures due to severe pain. I think I may have bruised the roof of my mouth while eating pretzels, perhaps when one got caught between the denture and my palate and I was chewing. I have had this before, but it has never been this severe or this swollen. please advise, as I am unable to eat solid food. thank you.
