I Got A Tattoo On My Lower Arm That Was

I got a tattoo on my lower arm that was bad. I got mad and tried to scrape the ink out of it immediately which has left me with a fresh wound from scraping off top layer of skin. I do not want it to scar while healing. I am putting neospirin or mederma scar On it and keeping it moist and bandaged. When I go to change bandage it looks mushy and and leaks through bandage but no sign of infection around it. Am I doing right or what do I need to do different. I received the wound Tuesday.
