I Got A Upper Back Tooth Pulled Out On Monday....it

I got a upper back tooth pulled out on monday....it is now thursday and my cheek is still swollen and i still have some pain....when i look at the place the tooth was extracted i dont see a blood clot but i see white stuff where the hole should be, is this normal?
